Something's wrong. Let's figure out what we can do.
Pets don't tend to get sick at convenient times.
If your dog or cat is suddenly unwell, injured, in pain or just clearly not themselves, bring them in. No appointment or call ahead is necessary for urgent care.

Urgent illness & injury
We'll examine your pet, talk through what's been happening and work out what they need next.
Depending on the problem, that may include diagnostics such as bloodwork and X-rays, medical treatment or surgery.
Urgent surgery
We perform a range of urgent surgical procedures, including:
-
Stomach or Intestinal obstruction removal surgery
-
Womb infection surgery
-
Removal or bladder stones or unblocking a blocked bladder surgery
-
Wound repairs
-
C-sections
-
Selected limb amputations

More than one way forward.
We believe there is often more than one good way to care for your pet. This is called the spectrum of care.
The most advanced treatment may be the best option, but it may not be the only option. We’ll explain what we recommend, what other choices you have, how much they may help, and what they may cost.
Sometimes a pet needs the equipment, round-the-clock monitoring, or specialist care of a 24-hour emergency hospital. If that is the case, we’ll tell you honestly. But that’s often not the case, so when we’ve assessed your pet, we’ll have an honest conversation about what your pet needs, and what we can realistically do to help.

What happens when you arrive?
Your pet will be taken into our treatment area, where one of our veterinary technicians will check their vital signs and our veterinarian will examine them.
From there, the veterinarian and technician team will develop a treatment plan and estimate and talk you through the options.
We run a busy, high-volume hospital with a deliberately small, knowledgeable team. Working this way helps us stay efficient, keep our costs lower and focus our resources where they matter most: taking care of pets.
That also means we work a little differently.
Our technicians play a big role in both patient care and communication. If your pet is staying with us, they'll receive regular check-ups from a designated technician, but we may not always be able to provide multiple updates throughout the day while patients are being treated.
